The Michigan Green Industry Association was founded in 1960 as the Metropolitan Detroit Landscape Association. MGIA now represents hundreds of landscape contractors, lawn maintenance companies, lawn irrigation and other Green Industry Contractors in Southeastern Michigan. The association offers educational, professional certification programs and a variety of trade shows for their members.
